I don't think crying is either one. I think it's okay, to cry, the bible says that there is a time for crying and a time for laughing. Sometimes it's good to just sit down and have a good cry, it can be refreshing.

my thoughts or other peoples thoughts? My thought are that God is very personal, He's a close and constant friend, and he wants to have a close relationship with us. Yes, He cares very muchly what happens, but, as you said, bad things do happen.

Leadership is very important, as is public speaking. I think the most important thing is being pro-God and against abortion. And being able to know what exactly you're supposed to do.
So, what can Theists agree with Atheists on? I think there's quite a lot, but I would be interested to see other thoughts.
For instance, both theists and atheists could easily agree on the physical nature of the world, and that one of the most important things to keep in mind is compassion. But what about other things?
